It all started with an internship at Pixar. My advisor didn't hesitate to sign the papers that would have allowed me to take a semester off of my junior year at UC Berkeley without the fear of a barred return. She looked at me incredulousy when I asked her if it was a wise decision.
"Alfred, you're going to come out of this more prepared than a lot of students here. Do it."
So I did. And as they say, the rest is history.
I've been very fortunate to have had great mentors whom have guided me through the last 8 years in the industry. Everything from how to bring down a farm, to building my eye. I will be forever grateful to them.
